John Davis Hudson

John Davis Hudson, 56, of Iowa, died Thursday March 27, 2014 at a local hospital. John was a native of Lake Charles and work for LNG for 24 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Preceding John in death are his parents, George Alexander Hudson, Jr. and Katherine Boyd Hudson and his beloved wife, Renee Lyons Hudson. He is survived by a daughter, Brandi Broussard and husband Jeremy, Lake Charles; step-daughter, Dusty Avery and husband Josh, Moss Bluff; two granddaughters, Emily Hudson Broussard and Jadyn Broussard; two brothers, Don Hudson and wife Christine and Terry Hudson and wife Jeanne; father and mother in law, Charles and Ethaline Potts; as well as a host of family from Mississippi. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 at the Funeral Home. Cremation will follow funeral services. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time and share with a special memory of John with them.
