John Gelt

John Gelt, 73, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

He was born on July 22, 1949 in Lake Charles, LA to Phillip and Viola Cormier Gelt.

John was a car and motorcycle enthusiast. He worked in the automotive industry his whole life and enjoyed traveling all over the country to attend car races.

John is survived by his brother, Michael Gelt and sister, Phyllis Hirsch.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of friends and family to celebrate his life will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
