John James Lecronier

John James LeCronier, 61, passed away at his Lake Charles, LA home on April 24, 2012 surrounded by loving family members after a brave fight with pancreatic cancer.

Son of Arthur and Joan (Hanson) LeCronier of Bay City, MI, he was born March 18, 1951 in Mt. Pleasant, MI. A devout University of Michigan sports fan, NASCAR enthusiast and previous employee of General Motors for over 40 years.

John is survived by his parents, wife Kathleen (Simunic), three children: Jason (Molly) LeCronier, Michael (Alan Smith) LeCronier and Michelle (Hank) Harrison; six grandchildren: Sydney, Camdyn, Brooklyn, Noah, Evan and expected grandson Jace John due in May 2012; two brothers: Russ LeCronier of Birmingham, MI and Jeff (Linda) LeCronier of Pasadena, MD; father-in-law Louis Simunic of Mancelona, MI; many cousins, nieces and nephews, and numerous adoring friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother: Ron LeCronier of Bay City, MI.

The LeCronier family would also like to say a heartfelt thank you to Christus St. Patrick Home Care Hospice nurse, Leah Verret, for the love and attention she paid to John throughout his battle.

A memorial service to celebrate John's life will take place at 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 26 at Johnson Funeral Home, 4321 Lake Street, Lake Charles, LA.
