John Lee "Johnny" Bergeron 74 passed away on July 24, 2014 in his residence. John was a native and a life-long resident of Sulphur and a graduate of Sulphur High School. He worked as a pipefitter for many years, was a member of the Pipefitters Local 106, served in the LA National Guard and trained horses. John is survived by his companion, Debra Daigle Gould; step-daughter, Trisha Gould Breaux; step-son, Darrell P. Gould and wife, Ashley; sisters, Peggy David and Carol Mires and husband, Donnie; brothers, Charles "Bully" Bergeron and Eddie Bergeron and wife, Sherry; and 7 grandchildren, Brittany Breaux, Ryan Breaux, Tyler Breaux, Haven Gould, Copelin Gould, Hadley Gould and Wasey Gould. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marie Bergeron, sister, Alberta Romero and brother-in-law, L.J. Romero. Funeral services will held on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Deacon Johnny Mounce officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the funeral home from 4-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. and will resume of Sunday at 10 a.m. until time of the service.
