John Lewis Lyons, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. John Lewis Lyons, Jr., 66, of Westlake, will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 1pm in St. John Bosco Catholic Church, Westlake. Deacon Fred Reed will officiate. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery, Carlyss under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Friday, July 2, 2010 from 2pm " 9pm, with a Rosary at 7pm in Robison Funeral Home, and resume on Saturday, July 3rd from 9am " 12 noon with services following at 1pm in the Church. Mr. Lyons passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 in a Lake Charles hospital. He was preceded in death by his Daughter: Kimberly Lyons Williams. Mr. Lyons was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Westlake and had retired from Teaching with the Calcasieu and Cameron School Board after 30+ years. He coached the girls Basketball, Volleyball and Track during his tenure. Mr. Lyons enjoyed leather crafting, camping and the outdoors, but the true love of his life was his family especially his granddaughter.
