John Randall (Kreiski) Allee, of Moss Bluff, Louisiana, was welcomed into heaven on June 10, 2014, following a nine-year battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was married to the love of his life, Joy Dawn (Rush) Allee, for 54 years. He was his grandchildren's biggest fan, where he watched Rebeka at all her dance activities and John David playing baseball and SHHS drum line. He was born November 19, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Ralph Edwin Allee and Ruth (Tynes) Allee. John enjoyed a faceted upbringing, living in more than six states as well as France, per his father's service as a Major in the U.S. Army. He graduated from LaGrange High School, served in the U.S. Navy, and worked professionally as an Optical Technician at Lake Charles Optical; Lab Manager at Bausch & Lomb, Luttrell Optical, ultimately retiring from The Eye Clinic after twenty years of service. John's interests were many, including coaching and umpiring for the Mid-City Little League; volunteering with The Optimist Club of Oak Park; supporting the McNeese State Cowboy and Sam Houston High School Baseball Booster clubs; obtaining bragging rights as a State Champion Bowler; raising and showing Show King Pigeons; bee-keeping; antique collecting; and to many kids at the Moss Bluff ball parks, being affectionately known as the "Sno Cone Man." And aside from all this, he would tell you his most important work was accomplished within his community and church home, First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff, where he was a member, Sunday School teacher, Master Life Instructor, Usher and Deacon. A life lived fully - a life of service and in service to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. No doubt our beloved John has already heard, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." John was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Edwin Allee and Ruth (Tynes) Allee; sisters, Carole McLaughlin, Anita Terrell, and Tommye McCrary; and brother, Richard Allee. His legacy will be continued by his wife, Joy Dawn Allee; children, Gayla Dawn Broussard (Gil) and Dohn Edwin Allee; grandchildren, Rebeka Dawn and John David Broussard, all of Moss Bluff, Louisiana; brother Max Allee (Linda) of Orlando, Florida; and best friends, Bert and Bitsy Cart. We will celebrate John's life with a visitation service on Thursday, June 12, 2014, from 5-9 p.m. and continue on Friday from 12:00 PM until the start of the memorial ceremony at 2:00 p.m., all at First Baptist Church, Moss Bluff. A burial service will follow at Ritchie Cemetery located on South Perkins Ferry Road, also in Moss Bluff. Dr. Steve Bennett will officiate. Our deepest thanks to our church family, numerous friends and family, and the loving care extended to us from our LA Hospice nurses, Callie and Gloria.
