John Stanley “Stan” Chehotsty born in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1961 and died Wednesday, January 24th 2018, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte; two brothers, Marty (Nancy) and Darryl; many nieces and nephews; and cousins; and his cat, Edance.

Two of his favorite quotes…

“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” – Dr. Seuss

“I may not be normal… but nobody is.”Is a line from the Willie Nelson song “I’d have to be crazy” (written by Steven Fromholz)

Stan, along with his family, wish to thank Dr. M. Kahn, Dr. Chang, their staff and his skilled care team from Christus Care at Home.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made, in honor of Bettye Mae Piboin Chehotsky, to Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.

At Stan’s request, he will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at Johnson Funeral Home; Saturday, January 27th from 2:00pm – 6:00pm.
