Johnna Jolene Fontenot

Johnna Jolene Fontenot, 36, left this life on December 6, 2013. She was a lifelong resident of Carlyss and a 1995 graduate of Sulphur High School. Johnna was a loving mother, daughter and sister to her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and those who loved her. Johnna is survived by her parents, Sherill and Nancy Menard of Sulphur; the father of her children, Lance Fontenot of Sulphur; three sons, Brian Keith Solana II, Peyton Slayed Fontenot and Dalton John Fontenot all of Sulphur; brother, Zachary Saul Menard; maternal grandparents, Allen and Judy Elliott of Maplewood; paternal grandfather, Delton Menard of Carlyss; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Della Menard; sister, Laci Menard Guidry, and eldest sons father, Brian Keith Solana. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home, 107 W. Napoleon St., Sulphur, LA., with Bro. Craig Foote officiating. Burial was in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home and will resume on Tuesday at 8 until time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
