Jonathan William Sonnier

Jonathan William Sonnier, 26, of Lake Charles died on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Jonathan was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on December 5, 1987 to the parents of Jennifer and Jerald Sonnier. He had currently been living in Illinois for the past six months. Jonathan was in Illinois working for Bay Safety Inc. In his spare time he loved to ride motorcycles, he also loved fishing with his close cousin, Jared Shumaker and Spending time with his best friend Whitney and her children. He is survived by his parents, Jennifer and Jerald Sonnier, two brothers, Jake Sonnier and Nicholas Sonnier all of Lake Charles, LA, one sister, Noelle Sanderford of Montrose, CO, maternal grandparents, Raymond and Glenda Law of Lake Charles, LA, paternal grandparents, Sandra and Charlie Richard of Topsy, LA, close companion, Whitney Whitcomb and her two children, Cameron and Greysen. Jonathan is preceded in death by his grandfather, John Sonnier, Sr. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Father Alan Troullier will officiate. Visitation will begin on Monday at 3:30 PM until 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at 8:00 AM until the time of services.
