Jose Omar Martinez Aviles

Jose Omar Martinez Aviles, 34, of Moss Bluff passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 in Moss Bluff. 

Omar was born on November 24, 1989 in Tilzapotla, Morelos, Mexico where he lived all of his life until moving to Moss bluff 8 years ago. He was a hardworking and dedicated construction manager for Big City Builders 

In his free time, Omar found joy in watching and playing football and soccer. He loved spending time with friends and family, sharing laughter, good food, and drinks and joking around. His infectious smile brightened the lives of everyone he met.  

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, who he was so proud of, Tadeo Martinez Cruz; his parents, Lucas Martinez Peralta and Gloria Aviles Aviles; and his siblings, Oscar, Luz Maria, Rocio, Jose Luis, Janeth, and Selena Martinez Aviles. 

A celebration of Omar’s life will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Morelos Cantina Grill, 2860 North Highway 171, Moss Bluff. Omar will return to Mexico for burial under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
