Joseph Clayton Matthews

Mr. Joseph Clayton Matthews, 52, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011. He was a native and resident of Lake Charles. He was a graduate of Barbe High School and attended McNeese State University for 2 years. Mr. Matthews was a truck Driver.

He is survived by his fiance', Karen Adkinson; four children, Scott Matthews and wife Heather of Lake Charles, Chrishina Matthews and fiance', Willie General of Lake Charles, Alisha LeJeune and husband Scottie of Jennings, Brianna Naomi Matthews of Lake Charles; Karen's children, Angela Perry and husband Jeremy of Lake Charles, Laura Lee and husband Reggie of Sulphur; 15 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Monday, July 18, 2011 at 1PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Father Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 10AM until time of service, with a Rosary at noon.
