Joseph Gary Fontenot, Jr.

Joseph Gary Fontenot Jr., a native of Lake Charles, passed away of a sudden illness on December 8, 2020 at the age of 62.

He was born August 4, 1958 in Lake Charles to Lillian Frensley and Gary Fontenot Sr.

He is survived by his mother Lillian; two daughters, Destiney Fontenot and Lindsey Fontenot Best and her husband Joey; four granddaughters, Shea, Haleigh, Laura, and Anna; three brothers, Keith Fontenot and his wife Cecilia, Scott Fontenot and his wife Carol, and Craig Fontenot and his wife Lisa and his lifelong friend Tammy Brister.

Gary is pre-deceased by his father, Gary Fontenot Sr.

Cremation has to been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, the family will host a private gathering and he will be laid to rest at Consolata Cemetery.
