Joseph Joe Pledger

Joseph Flave Joe Pledger, 60, of Lake Charles, died at his residence Monday morning, April 8, 2013 after a brief illness.

Joe was a native or Orange, Texas and graduated from Orange High School and attended Lamar University.

He served in the U. S. Army and was stationed in Korea. He enjoyed traveling, collecting, and caring for his dog.

Mr. Pledger is survived by his mother, Nancy Pledger.

His father, Flave Pledger and his sister, Sally Pledger Wood preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be held at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 10, 2013 under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Jim Leukenhof will officiate.
