Joseph Lambert

Joseph G. Lambert, 74, of LeBleu Settlement, LA died Thursday, July 24, 2014 at a local hospital surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was born on October 02, 1939 in Lake Charles to Joseph and Louvina Lambert. He was a Saints football fan and a Yankees baseball fan. He was very involved with his grandchildren especially the Iowa High School track program. His granddaughter Laiken was the apple of his eye. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Willie Jean Lambert; one daughter, Cheryl Baccigalopi; two grandsons, Brent Lambert and Bryan Lambert; great grand daughter, Laiken Lambert; one Brother, Billy Lambert of Houston; two sisters, Bonnie Rouse of Oxford, Alabama, and Lottie and Richard Landreneau of Lake Charles. He is preceded in death by his parents, and Siblings Gertrude LeBleu, Bernice Taylor, Tommy Lambert, and Greg Lambert. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Sunday, July 27, 2014 until time of service, with a 2:00 pm rosary. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. Deacon Jay Alexius will officiate services.
