Joseph "Toe Boy" Lenord Pousson, 73, of Lake Charles/Iowa died at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 13, 2015 in his residence. Mr. Pousson was born on January 5, 1942 in Lake Charles, LA where he lived all of his life until moving to Iowa to live with his daughter and son-in-law. He attended Marion High School. Mr. Pousson joined the US Army and fought during the Vietnam War. He worked for Alcoa for several years until becoming an automobile mechanic. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He adored his family, especially his grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memory are a two daughters and their husbands, Deborah Nugent and David and Christina Hill and Charles all of Iowa; a son and his wife, Joseph Christopher Pousson and Rachelle of LeBleu Settlement; three sisters, Sylvia LaFleur of Lake Charles, Betty LaRocca and husband Bennie of Lake Charles, and Wanda Cormier and husband James of Westlake; and a brother, Alfred Pousson and wife Sheila of Moss Bluff. He also leaves behind seven precious grandchildren, Matthew and Dylan Nugent, Zachary Pousson, and Amiee, Promise, Leah, and Jacob Hill and one special great grandson, Bryson Broussard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gussie and Alton Pousson; a brother, Alton Pousson, Jr.; two grandsons, Marcus Paul Nugent and Kaden Hunter Pousson; and a brother in law, Paul LaFleur. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Gene Stanley will officiate. Burial will follow in Hebert Cemetery in Hecker, LA. Visitation will begin on Monday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will resume on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
