Joyce Annell Stewart

Joyce Annell Stewart, 86, of Sulphur passed away on January 5, 2018 in a local hospital surrounded by her family. She enjoyed bingo, playing the slots, and going out to eat. Joyce’s whole life was being with her family, especially all her grand and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Joyce is survived by her children, Larry LeBert and wife Debora of Lake Charles, Glenda LeDoux and husband Kenneth, Bryan Stewart and wife LaDonna, Carol Faye Duhon and husband James, Bob Stewart, all of Sulphur, and Doug and wife Kristi of Baton Rouge; step-daughters, Gail Roy and husband Johnny and Brenda Dupriest and husband Jackie; also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Kris Guffa, Paul LeBert, Daniel McAdams, Kristi Bult and Neil LeDoux, David, Nick, and Shaun Stewart, Jeremy, Cory, and Jodie Duhon, Kimberlee, Emilee, and Hailee Stewart, Philip and Beau Guidry, Amanda Stewart, Lori Dumas, Katherine Rish, Rhonda Dahlberg, Chuck and John Roy, Jackie, Dupriest, Jr., Shari McEacharn, and Erica Miller; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Morris LeBert; her second husband, “Dub” Stewart; her parents; and 2 siblings, Glen McCartney and Elizabeth Wolfe.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 2 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 7, from 4-8 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation continuing on Monday, January 8 from 10 A.M. until time of the service.
