Joyce Hicks

Joyce Hicks, 71, passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 5, 2021.

She was born on July 6, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family, for her generosity, and her ability to strike up a conversation with everyone she met. It has been said that she never met a stranger. She enjoyed doing sudoku and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her children, Joanna Summers and Tim Emmons (Heather); 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Vaughn of Mustang, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Emmons.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
