Joyce Ruth Hughes Langley, 85 of Sulphur passed away on February 2, 2015 in a local care center. Joyce was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur. She was an avid gardener who loved spending time in her yard with her flowers. Joyce was a teacher at W. W. Lewis for many, many years, never having a bad student. She also loved to dance and paint. Joyce is survived by her son, William Keith Langley of Sulphur; three grandchildren, Lauren Langley Laney of CO, Ryan Todd Langley of Hawaii, and Baylea Jones; a sister, Victoria Baumgarten of CO; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Todd Langley; her parents, Eddie Rose Hughes and Zelma Victoria Mire Hughes; and 2 siblings, Helen Hughes Theaux and Al Hughes. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father Edward Richard, M.S. officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February, 4, 2015 from 5-8 P.M. with a rosary at 6:30 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
