Tony Lewis

Tony Lewis, 65, of Saratoga, Arkansas passed away on January 5, 2025 in a Houston Hospital following a brief illness.

Tony was a native of Lake Charles and was raised in Moss Bluff. He was a superintendent in the commercial construction industry. Tony was a man rooted and grounded strongly in his faith as Christian who enjoyed spending time with The Lord, his family and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed spoiling and attending to Pea-Pot, his pet squirrel.

Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife of 42 years, Denise Bloomfield Lewis; children, Chery (Jimmy) Morris, Little Elm, Texas; Tony Lewis, Jr., Hope, Arkansas; Starr (Israel) Maldonado, Melissa, Texas; Antonia Lachney (Shane), Denton, Texas; grandchildren, Lindsey, J.C., Justin, Joshua, Bayleigh, Michael, Taylor, C.J., Walter, Kaylyn, Ethan and Haiden, Alyssa, Mysty, and Autumn; great grandchildren, John, Liam, Levi, Koda, Rennleigh, Kash, and Cody Keith; brother, Jimmy Lewis, Hope, Arkansas; sister, Pat Miller, Alberta, Alabama, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family of the heart. Tony was Proceeded in death by his parents, Walter E. Lewis Sr. and Josephine Caddell Lewis; siblings Walter E. Lewis Jr., Mary Meaux, Kitty Smotherman, and Shirley McMahon. 

A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday January 12, 2025 at Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Graveside services will be at 2:45 PM at Pine Hill Cemetery in Iowa, Louisiana with burial to follow at the family section of the cemetery.
