Juanita Marie Richard

Juanita Marie Richard, 69, of Sulphur passed away on March 15, 2018 in a local hospital. Juanita loved taking care of her loving husband of 53 years, cooking and spending time with her family, especially spoiling her great grandbabies. She enjoyed picking blackberries, shopping at Wal-Mart, making clothes for her family, crafts and painting.

Juanita is survived by her husband of 53 years, James Richard of Sulphur; her daughter, Shannon Richard Ashworth and husband Louis of Sulphur; son-in-law, Mike Pratt; 3 grandchildren, Clinton Bertrand, Christopher Bertrand, and Destinee Pratt Smith; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emic and Myrtle Hollier; her loving daughter, Cyndi Lynn Pratt; 3 siblings, TJ Andrus, Geneva Guidry, and Wayne Hollier.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Father Andrew Kollannoor, M.S. officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Sulphur under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 5-9 P.M. with a rosary at 6:30 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation continuing on Monday, March 19 from 8 A.M. until time of the service.
