Judith Ann Hebert Greathouse

Judith Ann Hebert Greathouse, 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 13, 2024 in her home with her loving family at her side. She was born on March 24, 1939, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to David and Marie Richard Hebert.

Judith was a 1958 graduate of LaGrange High School in Lake Charles. She worked in banking as a bookkeeper for 30 years.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her husband of 65 years, Carroll Greathouse; her two children, Paul Wayne Greathouse (Paula) and Milissa Ann Greathouse Walla (John); four grandchildren, Evan Paul Greathouse (Julie), Nicholas Wade Greathouse (Kayla), Lauren Marie Walla and Lee Carroll Walla (Rachel); six great grandchildren; her sister, Carol Hebert Hedrick (Hancel); and her brother, Robert Hebert (Kim). She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 in the Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles Chapel. The Reverend Rojo A. Palatty Koonathan will serve as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on the evening of Tuesday, June 18 at 4:00 PM in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, and will continue until 8:00 PM, with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday morning at 8:30 AM, and continue until the start of the service at 10:00 AM.
