Judith Romero

Judith Arlene Romero, 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 18, 2017.

She was born in Lake Charles, LA to Leon and Lorena LeBeouf Ash on March 24, 1942. She will be remembered for her deep devotion to the Lord and as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will also be remembered for enjoying gospel music, especially the Gaithers, and her love for gardening and being an excellent cook.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Jill Dyer (Timothy) and Gil Romero (Chantel); grandchildren, Nichole (Fernando), Ariel (Jeff), Hannah, Timmy, and Taylor; great grandchildren, Jonas, Penelope, and Adeline; brother, Gary Ash; niece, Becky Cart; and nephew, Matthew Ash.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 12:00 PM. The Rev. Gary Evers will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 PM until 8 PM and will resume Thursday from 8 AM until the start of the service.
