Judy Anita Vincent Guidry, 72, of Lake Charles passed away at 8:10 AM, Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in a local care facility. She was a native and life resident of Lake Charles and retired from Lake Charles Memorial Hospital after twenty-eight years of service. Judy was an avid reader, gardener, and as of the last several years enjoyed painting. Her greatest joy, reflecting to her HUGE personality, was her love of family and laughter among those she loved, including friends. Judy is survived by three daughters, Anita Dugas, Karen Rayon and husband Randy, and Stacy Whittington; one son Jason Paul Guidry and wife Norma; twelve grandchildren, five of whom she and Lloyd raised; Misty (Cherri), Darrel (Amy), Desiree (Earl), Justin (Ashley), Russell; the remaining other grandchildren are Ashley (Jacob), Callie, Danielle (Skip), Dustin (Chastity), Jillian (Dennis), Noelle (Drew), and Erin (Mike), and sixteen great grandchildren; one brother, Robert Vincent and wife Judy. She is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Wesley Guidry, a great grandson Jaydon, her parents, and a brother, Ricky Vincent. Her Funeral Service will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Bill Miller will officiate. Interment will be in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, and continue from 9:00 AM until time of service in the funeral home.
