Judith Ann Pearson Pielow, 80, of Lake Charles, LA, passed away at 4:51 PM on Thursday, January 27, 2022 in a local hospital.

Ms. Pielow was born July 6, 1941 in Sulphur, LA, raised in the Sulphur / Westlake areas, and graduated from Westlake High School.  Throughout her career, she held various jobs, including school bus driver and life coach for Weight Watchers, just to name a few.  She always volunteered her time and talents, as she was an excellent seamstress and an avid quilter.  Many family members, friends and even strangers have a quilt made with love by Judy.  She attended St. Margaret Catholic Church for many years.  Judy also volunteered as a foster parent for over forty years, opening her home and her heart to an uncountable number of children.  She was also very adventurous and loved to travel, seeing 49 of the fifty states.

Ms. Pielow is survived by her daughter, Sissie Williams and husband Todd of Baton Rouge; son, Bryon Miller and wife Brenda of Lake Charles; granddaughters, Kris Ann Decuir and husband David, Megan Cobb and husband Casey, and Chey Anne Bluebird and husband Lance; grandson, Jacob Scott Williams; great-grandson, Delaine Bluebird; step-brother, Tommy Ellender and wife Linda of Gainesville, TX; her fur babies, Qit, Pit and Squeek; and numerous other cousins, family members, friends, and her quilting sisters, that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Norman Pielow; sons, Stuart Thomas Miller and Delaine “Junior” Bluebird-Miller; parents, Stuart and Helen Pearson; brothers, Johnny Pearson and Levi Pearson; and sisters, Pudgey Morgan and Bobbie Clement.

Her cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
