Judy Ann Richard

Judy Ann Richard, 81, died on March 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at home. Judy was born on October 26, 1942, in Jennings, LA to Claude and Barbara Boudreaux Jr. and raised in Pine Island, LA. Judy moved to Sulphur, LA where she raised her four daughters. She enjoyed being outside working in her yard and decorating for the holidays. People would drive from all around to view her decorations. She worked at Calcasieu Marine National Bank, Players Casino and Jeff Davis Bank.

Survivors include two brothers, Leonard (Martha) Boudreaux and Kenneth (Judy) Boudreaux; four daughters, Jackie (Jerry) Taylor, Cheryl DuBose and Kerry Pitts, Debbie (Sean) McElhannon and Trina DuBose; grandchildren, Kristi Mericle, Christopher and Cameron McElhannon; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Christian) Arabie, Nicalas LeBlanc and Noah Bird; great great grandchildren, Adeline, Avery, and Jaxson Arabie.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Richard and her parents, Claude and Barbara (Klein) Boudreaux Jr.

Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with a rosary at 6:30 PM. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Saturday April 6, 2024, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home until time of service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur, LA. with burial to follow at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Cemetery in Welsh.
