Judy Johnston

Judy Jarnagin Johnston, suddenly passed way peacefully at her home on December 29, 2020.  Just hours later, her husband, Donald Ray Johnston, passed away also.

Judy was a graduate of NLU in Monroe, LA.  She devoted her years to lovingly teaching early childhood education.  Her kind heart touched so many children, she loved it when they would reunite as adults.

Judy’s favorite times were reminiscing at her table with family and friends, Pokino gatherings, and squeezing on her grandbabies.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Amy Burnham (John); grandchildren, Jamy (fiancé Charles), Andrew “A.J.” and Blake Burnham; sister, Jill Sanders (Roy); brothers, Jack Jarnagin (Julie) and Jim Jarnagin (Faye); and many nieces, nephews and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Andrew “Andy”; and parents, Mary Lou and Otis Jarnagin.

Her cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
