Jules Miller, also known as the Turtle Man, 88, of Cameron, died Tuesday November 19, 2013 in a local hospital surrounded by his family. Jules was born January 25, 1925 in Creole and was a life-long resident of Cameron Parish. He was preceded in death by his parents, Diamond and Eurine Clement Miller, wife, Dorothy Duhon Miller and son Jules J. Miller. He is survived by his daughter, JoAnn George and husband Vincent; step sons, Roger Dyson and wife Candy, Ronald Gaspard and wife Ina, Cleveland Gaspard and Frank Quick and significant other Carla; grandchildren, Charlene Dyson, Roger Dyson II, Ronald Gaspard Jr., Josh Bourque, Heather Gaspard, Frank Quick Jr., JoAnn Dyson, Joseph Dyson Jr., Jules Quick, April Mendez, Brint Miller and Kayla Miller; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. As requested by Jules, his ashes are to be placed alongside of his wife's grave at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Cameron, LA. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday November 23, 2013 with Al Gibson officiating.
