Julius Guillory

Julius Guillory, 41, of Lake Charles passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015 in El Dorado, AR.   Julius was born on September 28, 1974 in Lake Charles where he lived the majority of his life. His professions included HVAC and pipefitting.   He was a motorcycle enthusiast and was a former member of Blue Iron LEMC. He also served on the board of BAAK of SWLA. Julius was always involved and volunteering for charity events. He never met a stranger and cherished the moments spent with family and friends. Julius also enjoyed playing golf and he played league pool with BCA and APA.   Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Monica Jackowick Guillory; a daughter, Samantha Lynn Myers of Lake Charles; a son, Dustin James Myers of Iowa; his father, Jerry Guillory and wife Nancy of Shreveport; a step father, Mike Mayes of Lake Charles; a brother, Gerald “Poncho” Guillory and wife Tara of Deweyville, TX; and a nephew, Justin Ford also of Deweyville, TX. He also leaves behind an abundance of friends whom he considered to be brothers and sisters.   He was preceded by his mother, Helen Trahan Mayes.   Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 28, 2015 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Rusty Fontenot will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Longville, LA. Visitation will begin on Friday from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
