Mr. Julius Nash, Jr., 83, of Lake Charles passed away, Monday, October 04, 2010 in his residence.
Mr. Nash was a native of Crockett, TX and lived in Houston, prior to moving to the Lake Charles area forty-three years ago. He worked for Hurricane Steel Company in Houston, owned and operated Nash Fence Company for many years in Lake Charles. He was a member of the Apostolic Temple of the United Pentecostal Church in Lake Charles.
Survivors include his wife, Enell Gaspard Nash; two daughters, Deborah Dupre` and companion Joe Henry, and Telisa Heard and husband Ferren all of Lake Charles; four sons, Dale Nash and wife Phyllis of Many, LA, Dwight Nash and wife Bonita, Harold Edward "Pete" Nash, and Reggie Nash and wife Peggie all of Lake Charles; twenty-one grandchildren, and twenty-six, great grandchildren; one brother, Harold Lee Nash of Montgomery, TX. He was preceded in death by a son, Corliss Nash; grandchildren, Stephanie Perry, Joshua and Clint Nash.
His funeral will be at 9:30 AM, Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Apostolic Temple in Lake Charles. Pastor Ricky Treece will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, in the funeral home and continue from 8:00 AM until time of service, Wednesday, in the church.
