June Fisher Wulff

June Fisher Wulff, 93, of Lake Charles passed away Monday, September 10, 2012 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Wulff was born on May 07, 1919 in Little Rock, IA to Dr. and Mrs. A.R. Fisher.

She was a graduate of Scovil Business College in Clinton, IA and in 1940 married W.A. Cub Wulff, moving to Lake Charles later that same year.

Mrs. Wulff served four terms as President of the Lake Charles Garden Club and was a Nationally Accredited Flower Show Judge. She was a member of the Enterprise Club, Toast Mistress Club and the Gulf Coast Bird Blub. She was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Lake Charles.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of seventy-one years.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Kathy Harrington and husband Jim; granddaughter, Shelly Harrington Thurman and husband Derick, and one great-grandson, Andrew James Thurman, all of Charlotte, NC.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Friday September 14, 2012 in First Presbyterian Church. Reverend Chandler Willis will officiate. A gathering of friends will follow the service. Interment services at Consolata will be private.
