Justin Reed Talley

Justin Reed Talley, 27, passed away on January 25, 2018. Justin grew up in the mountains of Virginia and enjoyed sharing memories of his childhood playing in the mountains, hiking to waterfalls, and playing soccer with his friends. When he moved to Louisiana he developed many great friendships, became a drummer in the high school band, and spent his time playing ping pong, paint ball, and watching movies, especially movies by Quinton Tarantino. Justin loved the Baltimore Ravens, music from the 1990s, and getting take out from David’s BBQ.  But most of all, Justin deeply loved his family and his friends.

Justin is survived by his mom, Amy Talley Nestle, of Dequincy, LA; his younger brothers, Cole Talley and Ryan Talley-Pozeg; his grandparents, Bill and Linda Talley; his aunts Heather Talley and Jessica Talley-Haynes; and his cousins, Bryc Talley, Alexis Hudson, and Sekai Talley-LaRoche.  He was preceded in death by his father, Craig Pozeg.

An open house for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 3-7 pm at 308 Hall Street, Dequincy, LA 70633.

A private memorial will be held in Virginia at a later date.
