Justin Robert Rogers

Justin Robert Rogers, 23, passed away on May 16, 2012 ending a long, hard fought battle with muscular dystrophy.

Born April 16, 1989 to parents, Peggy Rogers and Robert Rogers. This young man touched many, many lives His wit and humor can only be matched by his courage shown during the day to day misery of this dreadful disease

The love and care Justin received from his parents and especially his older sister, Jodi, helped him endure the long hard fight

Justin is survived by his parents, Robert "T-Bob" and Peggy Parker Rogers; sister, Jodi Rogers; grandparents, Curly and Frances Rogers, all of Lake Charles; and numerous aunts, uncles, and all his peoples that he leaves behind with heavy hearts

Justin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lois Parker; and cousins, Tyler Rogers, Tracy Leger, and Stacie Reeves.

His funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Kelly Vigo will officiate. Burial will follow in New Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a memorial reading service at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
