Kade Gilbert

Kade Allen Gilbert, 27, of Moss Bluff died on Monday December 13, 2021 in Moss Bluff.

Kade was a life-long resident of Moss Bluff. He was a graduate of Sam Houston High School, where he played football. After graduation, Kade attended, earned his Bachelor’s degree and was just a few hours short of earning his Master’s degree from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama on an academic scholarship.

Kade enjoyed traveling and Personal Training. His journey with personal training began when he was in high school sports and quickly became a part of him. This career helped many people through the years attain their fitness goals. Most recently, he joined Macros, a national personal fitness company. At the time he had joined, he was the youngest member of their program and currently was working with over 100 individuals to help meet their goals.

Preceding Kade in death are his paternal grandparents, William Don and Virginia Bruce Gilbert. Those that he leaves to cherish his memory are his parents, Robert and Melissa Howard Gilbert, Moss Bluff; maternal grandparents, Robert and Joyce Touchstone Howard, Moss Bluff; sister of the heart, Kimberly Brady (Zack), Moss Bluff; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Thursday December 16, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff, 2171 Hwy 171 N., Lake Charles, LA 70611. A private family memorial gathering will be at a later date.
