Kannon Guilbeau, 11, of Grand Chenier passed away at 6:55 PM, Friday, April 20, 2012 at a local hospital.

Kannon was a fifth grader at South Cameron High School and loved his school, classmates, teachers, and his favorite Coach Amadee. He was a Junior Tarpon Football and Basketball player. He was an altar server at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Creole. Kannon is well remembered as the 2008 "Little Mister Cameron Parish." He was an avid fan of the LSU Tigers, Baltimore Ravens, and St. Louis Cardinals, but loved being a South Cameron Tarpon the most. Kannon's hobbies included working and showing cattle, helping in the garden, riding his four-wheeler, fishing, hunting, shooting his gun, and playing his video games and ipod. He loved his life with his nephew, Andon.

Kannon grew up with many friends and activities of his sisters, Haley and Shelby, and shared in every aspect of their busy lives from pageants to sports and everything in between. Kannon died as the result of a four-wheeler accident and would want his friends and other children to remember to always be safe.
