Karan Lorraine Fontana

Karan L. Fontana, 55, of Lake Charles passed away, Tuesday, June 18, 2013 in her residence.

Karen was a master framer and worked a number of years at the Frame Shop and had also worked at Isle of Capri. She attended Sale Street Baptist Church. Karen was a great cook and enjoyed fixing meals for her family. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her companion, Greg Pop Demarets; four sons, Ricky and Luke Thomas, Mario Buddy and Blake Fontana; two daughters, Dana Thomas Vige and Demi Fontana; six grandchildren; one sister, Lisa Young; and her father Frank Haymark. She is preceded in death by her mother, Joy Leigh Willard Haymark.

Her funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 22, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Kent Shephard will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday and continue from 8:00 AM until time of services in the funeral home.
