Karen Faye Breaux

Karen Faye Breaux was one of four children born to Melvin Hewitt and Helen Marie Breaux. She was born in Kinder, LA on February 9, 1962 and Southwest Louisiana was her lifelong home.

She possessed a kind and loving soul, you were never greeted without a smile and warm gesture. She never thought twice to aid those in need or lend a helping hand and was always available for a road trip. Trips to the casino with her adopted daughter Cherie Johnston and Dolores Daigle were always a highlight to her week. She enjoyed playing cards with her grandchildren and friends; especially the ever competitive game “neighbors”. She loved eating seafood and never passed up a trip to her favorite restaurant, Seafood Palace.

She was welcomed into Heaven on August 12, 2021 by her parents, Melvin Hewitt and Helen Marie Breaux and a sister, Roxanne Huval.

Those left to cherish her memory are; a daughter, Alicia Marie Breaux and fiancée Tanner Johnson, three grandchildren, Gabe Scott Breaux, Danny Lee Kordish, and Cody Luke Kordish; and two sisters, Shirley Fruge and twin-Sharen Miller.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
