Karin Bailey

Karin Bailey, 69, passed away in a local hospital on August 15, 2018.

She was born on June 2, 1949 in Lafayette, LA to Louis and Gertrude Robichaux.

She loved her grandchildren and will be remembered for her kindness. She taught school for 34 years before retiring. After retiring, she donated her time to area hospitals.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Caleb Bailey (Amanda); daughter, Amber (Philip) Daw; grandchildren, Luke, Garrett, Connor, Camille, Paxton, Sadie and Savannah; mother, Gertrude Robichaux; and brothers, Theo Robichaux, Chris Robichaux and Chet Robichaux.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Robichaux; and brother, Damon Robichaux.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Greg Bath will officiate. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Jennings at 2 PM on Saturday. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday from 9 AM until the start of the service.
