Karin Lea Fontenot

Karin Lea Brannon Fontenot, 60, of Apache Junction, AZ, died on Friday, September 28, 2018.

Karin was born April 12, 1958 in Knoxville, TN, lived in Lake Charles, LA most of her life and moved to Arizona in 2006. She was a 1976 graduate of LaGrange High School and worked at Howell Furniture Company for a number of years. She had a passion for movies and will be remembered for her beautiful singing voice and her witty personality.

Karin is survived by her sisters, Janet (Ed) Navarre of Surprise, AZ and Cheryl (Arthur) Cooper of Lake Charles; son-in-law, Glenn McConnell of Messa, AZ; granddaughter, Laurel McConnell of Messa, AZ; nieces, Dena (Paul) Brown of Lake Charles, LA, Sabrina (Jesse) Colquette of Fort Worth, TX and Mayah (Jeremy) DeVillier of Lake Charles, LA; and great nieces and nephews, Erica and Hannah Brown and Brannan and Lily DeVillier.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tonia McConnell; parents, James and Helen Brannon; and a great-nephew, Keegan DeVillier.

Her graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Reverend Tony Bourque will officiate.
