Karon Dianne Tressitt-Williams

Karon Tressitt-Williams, 65, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011. She was a native of Lake Charles and a resident of Baton Rouge.

Karon was a graduate of Mcneese State University and post graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University. She retired from office of public health after 27 years of service as director of Oncology. A devoted mother and grandmother, she prided herself in helping others.

She is survived by two sons, Stephen Tressitt and wife Amy and Robert Williams all of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Lisa Williams of Monroe and Donna Williams of Baton Rouge; niece, Brittany LeDoux of Baton Rouge; mother and father, Mable and Earl Featherston of Lake Charles; two sisters, Lisa Newman of Baytown, TX and Angela Brown of Ragley; 7 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Danielle "Nikki" Tressitt; father, Harris Stephens; sister, Jackie LeDoux; brother, Ron Stephens.

Funeral service will be held Friday, December 23, 2011 at 2PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will begin Friday from 11AM until time of service.
