Katharine Kitty Walker

Mrs. Katharine "Kitty" Walker, 87, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Galveston, TX to Peter Pauls and Katharine Vedder Pauls. She was a resident of Lake Charles.

Kitty was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution, Lake Charles Power Squadron, and Lake Charles Ballet Society.

She is survived by her four children, Theodore "Ted" O. Friedrich and wife Luanne of Spring, TX, Diana Hawk Byrley and husband Greg Lake Charles; Daniel "Lewis" Hawk of Lake Charles, Michael David Ward of Lake Charles; three grandchildren, Christiana Williams and husband Coy, Daniel Chimeno and wife Julie, Angela Chimeno and fiance' Bob Little; two great -grandchildren, Payton Williams and Parker Williams.

She is preceded in death by, Theodore O. Friedrich, Dan A. Hawk, Ted A. Ward, and William "Bill" Walker; and by her son, Randolph "Randy" William Friedrich.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 4PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2PM until time of service.
