Katherine Lorraine Davis

Katherine Lorraine Davis 88, of Sulphur passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 8, 2013 in her residence. She was a nurse at West Cal-Cam Hospital retiring after 17 years. Lorraine loved her children which were the center of her life. She was a member of Maplewood First Baptist Church in Sulphur, Believers Sunday School Class and the Mary Cline Bible Study, Bible study was a very important part of her life. She was also a life-time member of the Disabled American Veterans and a charter member of WWII Memorial, Washington D.C. Lorraine is survived by her two daughters, Ruth Peloquin and husband, Bobby and Debbie Davis and fiance , Gary Gaspard; three sons, Michael Davis and wife, Barbara, Don Davis and wife, Beckie and Mark Davis and wife, Missie; 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt James Davis of 60 years; son, Steven Davis; parents, Truston and Pearl Andrus and brother, Charles T. Andrus. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Maplewood First Baptist in Sulphur with Rev. Ronnie Burke officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens in Lake Charles under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home.
