Kathleen Marie Meche

Kathleen Marie Meche, 62, of DeQuincy died at 5:15 AM Thursday December 25, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Meche was a native of Houston, Texas and longtime resident of Dequincy and the Lake Charles area. She was a 1970 graduate of Marion High School and enjoyed quilting, baking and was always the "Best Mom" anyone could ask for. She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Joe Meche, Dequincy; four sons, Joseph Scott Meche and wife Jodi; Bonner, Montana; Christopher Lee Meche, Atlanta, GA; Joseph Lloyd Meche and wife Danie, Lake Charles; Jacob Meche and wife Shannon, Lake Charles; four grandchildren, Kayla Ashley Meche, Tylor Lee Meche, Taylor Angel Meche, and Lillian Grace Meche; three sisters, Francis Earline Livingston, Murietta, CA, Ellen Fowler and husband Steve, Baytown, TX; and Debbie Bieber and husband Norman, Carlyss; three brothers, Jimbo Moore and wife Vickie, Oklahoma; Troy Moore and wife Melisse, Lumberton, GA; and Wilmer Moore, Augusta, GA as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday December 29, 2014 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Watson officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9 PM on Sunday and will continue at 8:00 AM until the time of services on Monday. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
