Kathryn Marie Anderson

Kathryn Marie Anderson, 65, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, died at 1:16 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2015 in a local hospital. Ms. Anderson was born March 15, 1949 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of LaGrange High School and worked many years as a Manager in the Hotel Industry. She was an avid reader and loved to watch movies. Ms. Anderson will be most remembered for her spirit, contagious laugh and smile. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Ruth Edwina "Pud" Anderson; daughter, Joan Brooks Landry, PhD and husband Jason Landry, MD; son, James B. Brooks; sister, Delia Susan Anderson and husband Robert Weiss; brother, James Ralph Anderson, Jr.; nephew, Michael Anderson and wife Kristin; niece, Melissa Anderson Bruno and great nephews, Dominic Bruno and Miles Anderson. She was preceded in death by her father, James Ralph Anderson and brother, William "Bill" Anderson. Memorial services will be at 4:00 PM Sunday, February 8, 2015 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Charlie Langford will officiate. Visitation Sunday will be from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
