Kathy Ann Beard

Kathy Ann Beard, 69, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 in a local hospital.

She was born on July 1, 1952, in Lake Charles, LA, to Floyd and Gertrude Carrier.
She was a 1969 graduate of Marion High School and worked for Dr. Charles Anderson for many years and later for the Urology Clinic for 12 years upon retirement in 2007. Kathy loved entertaining family and friends at their home on the river, spending time on the river, reading, bowling, bingo, and traveling.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 47 years, David Beard; children, Damon Beard (Lori) and Kami Guillory (Rick); 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Ferdie Carrier (Dean); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bobby Carrier.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff located at 2171 North Hwy 171, Moss Bluff, LA 70611. Rev. Marcus Wade will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will resume on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the start of the service. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
