Katrina Moody

Katrina Moody, 39, was called home to Heaven on June 8, 2023, at her residence.

She was born on September 9, 1983, in Enid, Oklahoma to Timothy Moody and Elizabeth Simons. Katrina was a loving mother to two beautiful children. If you would have asked her what made her world go ‘round, her answer would have been this: her kids. There is no greater love than the love a mother has for her children, and Katrina embodied that well.

Katrina was also known for being a firecracker with the biggest heart. She had a love for God, the beach, crime shows, bartending, and being spontaneous. She was fun-loving, caring, an animal lover, and an excellent cook. To know her was to love her and she will be greatly missed. The world will not be the same without the love Katrina gave to all she met.

Those left to cherish her memory include her fiancé, Ronnie Clemons (Ethan and Dylan); children, Skyla St. Germain, Drake St. Germain; mother, Elizabeth Simons (Marlin Manuel); father, Timothy Moody (Laura); grandfather, Floyd Moody (Cheryl); siblings, Beau Moody (Charlene), Hailey Moody, Jessica Sheldon (Chris), and Jordan Moody; niece, Kaylee Lee; nephew, Kasen Moody; uncle, Tom Moody; aunts, Teresa Harrel, Tammy Moody and Tina Fox and beloved dogs, Jasper, Bella, and Tazz.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Virgie Overstreet and Elsie Simons; and her grandfather, Reggie Hudson; and stepfather, Richard Simons.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
