Kaye Tatum McCulloch passed away at her home in Lake Charles, LA on July 2, 2017 after a brief illness. She was born in Lake Charles on October 9, 1951.
Kaye graduated from LaGrange High School and attended McNeese Stae University and Louisiana State University. She had for over 30 years been part owner and manager of J.M. & F., Inc. a local convenience store chain that her father Jack Tatum founded. She was currently employed for the last 11 years at Calcasieu Parish Juvenile Detention Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mae and Jack Tatum; nephew Todd Allen Sarver and her former husband and friend Dr. Edward Gaines McCulloch.
She is survived by her daughter, Leah McCulloch and husband Josh Griffin; her granddaughters, Aiden and Easten Griffin all of Horseshoe Bay, TX; her son, Paul Hamilton McCulloch of Lake Charles; sisters, Joy Tatum Hall and husband Tom, Dru Tatum Jarmon and husband Randy, Linda Tatum Bailey and husband John, Jan Tatum Cuniff and husband David, and Mona Tatum Ackel; her brothers, Jack PaulTatum and wife Erin Of Palmer Lake, CO, and Hilary Calhoun Jr. and wife Erin of Palmer Lake, CO, and Hilary Calhoun Jr and wife Bonnie of Metter, GA; nieces Alicia Radford Gaubert, Kristie Leslie; and nephews Chris Betbeze, Jason Radford, and Cameron Cuniff.
