Kayla Vincent Rosetta

Kayla Vincent Rosetta went with the angels to her heavenly home on May 5, 2012. A native of Sulphur, Louisiana, she lived in Monroe, Louisiana for the past several years.

Kayla was born to Leroy and Peggy Sweeney Vincent on November 13, 1962 in Sulphur, Louisiana. She attended St. Louis High School and graduated from Sulphur High School in 1982. She held many secretarial positions through the years until health problems ended her working career.

Kayla was a gifted writer and journaled daily. She loved reading her Bible with her furry friend, Clyde, sitting by her side. She fought a courageous battle, we will miss her smile and laughter, but we know she is in a better place. Rest in peace our sweet angel.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Peggy Vincent; daughter, Amber Walker and husband Shane; son, Chad Vincent, four grandchildren; Shanna, Maddie, Christopher, and Jeremy; a brother, Ronnie Vincent and wife Kathy of Lumberton, TX; nephew, Jarret Vincent and wife April of Jacksonville, FL; and one great nephew.

She is preceded in death by her beloved father and her "hero" Leroy Vincent; and numerous aunts and uncles she dearly loved.

Thank you to everyone for your many prayers and help through the years.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Father Charles McMillan will be the celebrant. Visitation will begin on Thursday at 3:00 PM with a rosary to be recited following the service.
