Keith Alvin Long

Keith Alvin Long, 90, of Lake Charles, died Sunday May 15, 2016 at a local hospital.
He was a native of Dover, Ohio. Following graduation from Dover High School, he honorably served our country in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a graduate of Tri-State College in Angola, Indiana and retired as a chemical engineer from BASF Wyandotte Corporation. He had a passion for building miniatures (houses) and was connoisseur of fine dining.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margaret Burton Long, Lake Charles; three children, Joanne Hable, Grafton, MA; Terrence Keith Long (Louise), Gonzales, LA and Craig Robert Long (Sue), Lake Charles; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be at 5:00 PM on Saturday May 21, 2016 at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, Lake Charles. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
