Keith King Ayres

Keith King Ayres, 54, beloved father, son, brother, and grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at UofL Hospital in Kentucky, following a brief illness.

Keith was born in Lake Charles, on May 20, 1958, to Sanford and Virginia King Ayres and moved to Louisville, KY, eighteen years ago. He was a Methodist by faith and a retired journeyman machinist, with government clearance for special projects.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Sanford Ayres.

Cherishing his memories are his mother, Virginia King Ayres; sister, Tobe Ayres Leonard; one son, Brandon Ayres; three daughters, Keeley (Malcolm) Isgitt, Tierney Denise Ayres and Cassandra (Terry) Trapp; five grandchildren, Logan, Lauren and Lyddia Isgitt, and Jasmine and Taryn Trapp; niece and nephew, Leah and Justin Leonard; and a loving partner of 15 years, Nancy Cornelius.

He will be greatly missed by all that knew him, but most of all by his family.

Private graveside services will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation Monday, July 2, 2012 will be from 10:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home.
