Keith Richard Kurtz

Keith Kurtz, 61, of Sulphur, died unexpectedly at his residence on Friday December 6, 2013. Keith was born in New Orleans and has been in the Lake Charles area since he was a child, having lived in Sulphur for the past 41 years. He was a graduate of LaGrange High School and worked for the Olin Chemical Company for a number of years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was active for many years with the Lake Area Racers sporting Boats and R.C. Cars and the Harley Owners Group (HOGS). He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Joseph and Vivian Ueber Kurtz. Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 41 years, Lorraine Runyon Kurtz, Sulphur; son, Joshua Isaac Kurtz and wife Julie, Moss Bluff; and a brother, Albert Joseph Kurtz, Vinton.
